Weeping Willow Tree - Ships in sizes 1-3 Feet In Height

A weeping willow is a full and lush, whimsical tree that will grow ideally in moist areas. These wonderful trees thrive in a variety of growing conditions making them a great choice for a variety of growing zones, specifically zones 4 through 9. Willows grow to reach an average height of thirty-five to fifty feet tall. The soil requirements for these majestic beauties are not at all complicated. Willows are compatible with a large variety of pHs and soil types and grow best in moist locations. Weeping willows are easy to grow and they do so at an astonishing rate. They typically grow anywhere from six to eight feet a year. These trees are known for having thin, long, slightly jagged leaves. There are a few variations of willow tree that have a bloom pattern and they are pussy willows, weeping willows, and black willows. These bloom patterns generally run down the whole length of the branch, creating a cascading wave of color. Colors range from white to yellow to pink to purple and so many in between. The peaceful nature of the swaying branches will add a classy serene ambiance to any part of a property. Due to its propensity to absorb water, weeping willows will rid areas that collect standing water after rain showers making them an excellent addition to low land properties. With their long sweeping branches, willow trees can provide the perfect amount of shade and appeal to anyone’s home or business. As an added benefit, weeping willows can also help prevent soil erosion. Weeping willows are named as such for their physical appearance. The branches stream in a downward arching fashion creating a wondrous effect. The elegant branches carry the color of the season all across themselves as they sway carelessly in the wind.
